What this is

Small amounts per shift add up.

A few dollars a shift adds up over months, and the law may double the back pay. A free review tells you your number.

Free. You pay us nothing unless you win.

It is illegal for an employer to retaliate against you for making a claim about illegal pay.

No documents or pay stubs needed.

Why not just handle it yourself

Common is not the same as legal.

Doing nothing is what employers count on. The free government route can leave money behind, because a court claim can double back pay while a government settlement often will not.

We know restaurant pay.

The tip pools, the tip credit, the sidework games. You talk to a real person, in your language, treated like a person and not a file number.

Recovered millions for workers across Florida and Georgia.

I tried one of the big fancy firms you see on TV, but I felt like a number. A friend referred me to the Leach Firm, and from day one, I was treated with care, compassion…

Questions people ask

The honest answers.

Do my tips even belong to me?
Yes. Under the law your tips are yours, not the restaurant's. The business does not get to treat them as its own money.
Is it actually illegal for a manager or owner to take a cut?
Yes. Managers, supervisors, and owners are not allowed to keep your tips. Period. It does not matter if they call it a house cut or a pool, that money is supposed to be yours.
I still work there. Will my employer find out?
You control what happens next. You can start with just a few questions and stay anonymous until you decide otherwise. Nothing moves forward unless you say so, and you can find out whether you have a case without your employer hearing a word about it.
I already quit or got fired. Can I still claim?
Yes. You do not have to still work somewhere to claim what they already owed you. Back pay is yours whether you are still on the schedule or long gone. A lot of the strongest claims come from people who already left.
Does my immigration status affect this?
Wage protections apply to everyone who did the work, no matter their immigration status. If you earned it, the law says it is yours.
What if it doesn't work out? Do I owe anything?
You pay us nothing unless you win, so there is no bill if it goes nowhere. The firm will walk you through exactly how that works before anything starts.
Is it worth it if the amount feels small?
Usually yes. A few dollars a shift adds up fast over months, and these practices often hit the whole crew, not just you. A free review is how you find out if your number is bigger than it feels.
How much could I be owed?
Usually more than people guess. Small amounts per shift pile up over months, and in many cases the law lets you recover an equal amount on top of the back pay. There is no promised number, which is why the firm reviews your answers for free and tells you your own number.
How long do I have? Is it too late?
There is a deadline. These claims usually reach back about two to three years, so it is rarely too late, but every month you wait you can lose the oldest months you could still claim.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. You can do all of this in Spanish, start to finish, with a real person who speaks it. Use the language toggle at the top, or just tell us on the form.
Why not just report it to the Department of Labor myself?
You can, and for some people that is the right call. But the free government route can leave a lot of money behind. A court claim can double the back pay you recover, while a government settlement often will not, and federal wage investigators are stretched thin and focused on the biggest cases. A free review helps you see which path is worth it for you.
